Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

As a member of this PvE group, I know that I am not to engage in PvP. Does this apply ONLY when logged in via Private Group to Mobius, or does it also apply when I'm in Open Play?

Yes ... In Open Play there is no chivalry.

Group rules apply only while playing in the group, of course.
And everybody is free to hop in and out or join as many other groups as they like, each with it's own goal or purpose. I really love the approach Frontier chose to take here with the grouping mechanics.

Thanks, everyone. I presumed it was only in group play that the rules would apply, but would have hated to get banned because I'd been shooting people down by mistake in open play. Actually, you are much more likely to be shooting ME down
