Possible FSD bug?

I haven't reported this yet cause i'm not sure if a bug, but I would like to know if anyone else has had this issue. This happened twice to me last night.

in a T-7 got interdicted by a python. I submitted to the interdiction, but as it pulled me in I threw my throttle to full power so that I would be fleeing as soon as I hit reg space. My FSD acted like I had fought the interdiction and went into a LOOONG cool down allowing the Python to turn me into space dust. Happened again later agaisnt a Anaconda..

What I'm wondering is .. depending on when I throw my throttle to full power, as soon as it starts to pull me in vs as it is about to spit me into real space, is determining if I submitted or not and setting the FSD cooldown to the wrong setting even after I am pulled in for a submit.

Was advised by a friend later to not touch my throttles during a submit and tehy will not be insta hostile giving me time to prepare a jump. I'm still wondering though if others have had that issue.

Not sure.....I always leave my throttle back until I'm pulled out......

Then take a look and throttle forward and run........Or throttle forward turn and attack.....

I would say to not throttle up until you start the spinning in normal space. It is probably not a bug more like sever latency as the servers have had a bit of lag. IDK, if I have the chance I will test it too.

It's happened a couple of times to me as well, regardless what I did with the throttle.

I suspect they tweaked something a couple of days ago cause I have been noticing some new behaviour in the npc's spawning in cruise but that could just be circumstance.

This happened to a guy i flew with last night, got dicted in his Type-9 by a python, he couldn't get away because of a long FSD cooldown and ended up dying. Not sure if it's a bug.

Did he fight the interdiction? I know if you fight an interdiction and loose it gives you the cool down length as if you did an emergency deceleration.. but it SHOULD be a lot quicker cooldown if you submit.

I have fought many an interdiction, only to submit and get no cooldown penalty once I realised it wasn't going to go my way (or simply just take too long).

This is definetly a glitch\bug.
