Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

...home?

I've been reading the forum a bit and seeing people talking about their Home Sectors so I'm intrigued if there is a Mobius home sector that I should head for where I might be able to find most of the group? Or at least a general direction which is not a million light years away from everyone else.

I know people tend to just go in random directions and spread all over but if someone could give me a rough idea where I should start heading that would be great. I am currently in Everate section (think that's the spelling) as I am a noob but would like to start expanding my bounty hunting regions.

There is an official system which is Azrael and is home to the Mobius station. I moved there about 2 months ago and it is now my main base.
In the next update to E : D Mobius is to become a minor faction so you will be able to run bulletin board missions for Mobius.

There are a few people that call that system home and it will no doubt grow when the faction support becomes fully available.

If you plan on trying to rank up with the FED then I would head over to LTT 15574 as there are lots of missions there and the surrounding systems, and it is not too far away from Everate. If looking to rank up with the Empire, head over to Azrael, the Mobius home system come release 1.4, as that is an Empire system.

I don't quite get the whole faction system yet tbh. I'm quite happy to go along with the crowd on that one. I'll do some reading on this in a moment.

So is Mobius actually a Outpost/System in the game then? I thought it was just what the main guy was called.

There are several stations named after our leader mainly outposts, except for the one in Azrael which is a fully fledged luxury station, however its shipyard is pitifully stocked at the moment so you will need to go else where for upgrades etc. The good news is that there are several Hi tech systems 1 jump away that you can full kit out any ship you want.

With the launch of 1.4 there will be a minor faction called 'The Order of Möbius' or something like that in Azrael controlling the station Raffety's Mobius (Ocellus class). This faction is a ingame representation of our group. If you want some guys to play with, try joining the wing http://inara.cz/wing/171, which is made up from members of this group that, come 1.4, will actively support the minor faction.
We are always happy to welcome new CMDRs and help them learn the ropes of the game!

I'll head towards Azrael and sort out the faction stuff later. Im guessing I can change factions whenever I want right?

D3AD, any of you guys in GMT or near to that timezone? Just asking coz if you're all like GMT+7 then it'll be difficult playing together.
