Never gotten above 77c before until I did a trade run between somewhere and CM Draco (Anderson Escape). The space station is over 194,000Ls from the star so it takes a while. I put the throttle in the blue zone, and got 550c.

What have others gotten?

If you go to LHS v1090 I think, there is astation called Haipeng something or other, which is 1,246,000 Ls from the sun.
Managed to get over 1000c there and still took almost 10 minutes to get there.

There was also a star in one of the five systems in PB1 which was 0,14 LY from the sun, can't remeber the speed I got up to, but it took at least half an hour to get there.

I was curious about getting to another star (about 7LY away) and put it in SC and pointed it away from the sun. I think I got up to about 1800c before I got fed up and jumped.

Just when I think that I've got the biggest balls in this group, 2 others come along and show me what an adolescent I am.

77c isn't a lot really. Just recently exploring systems I've easily got up to just 500+ going around in circles looking for moving planets in the system... for me very relaxing and fun, for other - boring as sh1t.

Some systems have planets several hundred thousand km away from the star. (I've heard some have over 1 million in distance but never seen one yet). Just think how far our own pluto is from the sun (about 38.2 AU)

1 AU = 149,597,871 kilometers

I suggest when the game goes live you head to our very own SOL system and fly from the sun to earth, then you will understand the sheer size of the galaxy more. :)

If you don't know 1AU is the distance from earth to our sun.

Or put differently, about 8 light minutes. And Pluto is at more than 5 light hours from the sun!
