Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Good Afternoon Commanders,

I stumbled across an old post (2013) on the Elite: Dangerous forums: -

Many of you may have already seen it, but I thought I'd share it for those who possibly haven't.

Basically it's a Google Map that allows you to place a Pin showing whereabouts you are in the world.

I've taken the liberty of creating one for Mobius: -

So feel free to add yourself to the map.

Note: You do need to be signed into Google to add your Pin. Once signed in, click on "Edit" in the top left hand corner and you should be able to place a Pin on the map.

Note: If you don't have a Google account and would still like to be added drop me a PM with details of where to add you and I'll be more than happy to do so on your behalf. Pins can be added using Post Codes, ZIP Codes etc.

Wow, not seen this for a while. Amazing to think that there's a fellow CMDR on the neighboring road here in Bracknell.
Love the idea of seeing the distribution of Mobians (and OoM members) - could make arranging a base raid in Horizons easier!

Just tried it and it doesn't allow me the option to add a Pin to the Map?

Edit: I've clearly been a little slow... Is it the case that you need to Sign-In to Google to allow you to add a Pin to mark your location?

I'm signed in but can't figure out how to add a pin...?

Try using this one: -

If then see this: -



Click on "Edit" and you should be able to add a Pin.

This is new to me as well but I found a sharing option that gives access to anyone via the link. For me, I see a row of icons under the searcg box that includes one for dropping a pin. Not there? I'll look at further options.
