Just have to apologise to CMDRs Pli55ken and VPVoid I think it was if you're on the forums for my unforgivable exit from Neville Horizons, Kaushpoos tonight!

Obviously more tired than I realised, I didn't see the incoming Conda so in a bit of a panic boosted out the rest of the way through the letterbox only to narrowly avoid a head on with a T9 doh! :P

Deservedly picked up my 100cr fine from the station for clipping the T9 and apologies again if you read this!

You didn't hit me but I might have been in the dock when it happened. I hope they don't take offence, I am sure they won't particularly after your eloquent apology :)

I have really been enjoying Neville Horizons over the last few days - with everyone exchanging messages as they enter and exit, it has really added an extra dimension to the game. Your minor accident if anything just adds more to it !

Fly safe commander

Hello,
I nearly clipped CMDR Pil55ken on my exit out too. He had declared his intention but I did not see a clear message. So I declared my intention to exit and started exiting. At that point I came face to face with a Conda, followed closely by a Python coming in, I came to a full stop and vectored down. Then I saw The T9 coming in and tried to get out of the way.
I really hope more CMDRs would declare their intentions, execute, then state when they are clear. Would make life in crowded stations that much more fun and easier.

Have fun, fly safe.

if everyone keeps Green to the right (I admit I used to not to) does it help? Or will a Conda take up the whole mailbox/toaster rack?

you can get two anacondas through the slot side by side so depending on the ships its not a problem. the problem is that if you set your graphics to low you can't even see the lights.

I did not know that.

I will start declaring when I go out as well then/

You could get 2 Condas through if the pilots are slow, steady and precise enough. But usually I see CMDRs flying quite close to the middle of the box.
I admit, most times I can't judge how close my Python is to the side of the box so I err to the side of caution and fly closer to the middle.
A T9 on the other hand is a whole new story. I can't fly it anyway other than straight through the middle. The one time I decided to try and fly a T9. Maybe a DC would be better (I personally don't think so.)

Have fun, fly safe.

I keep to the green side and can slide my asp or cobra as a T9 comes in. All other ships are not an issue. NPC's tend to keep to green side now on the way in. I did go through the slot at a hard angle trying to smuggle in stuff past a T9 going in when a Python was coming out. I scraped and banged along the way, but made it and never got scanned.

I have also had NPC's try to blast past me as I am doing 90-95 going through the slot and hitting me.

'Condas are long and pointy, so two should be able to pass with no problem, but it is nice to know that someone is going to be very close to where you want to be. Besides, how many times to you manage to make the perfect entry?

I don't think you want me to answer that :p
