Space getting scanned big time

The last time I went into the depths of space, I needed only tavel 300 ly from SOL before I was encountering unscanned systems, I am now 500 ly away and every system and every planet has been scanned that I have dropped in. It amazed me really that the amount of systems (over a billion) and everyone I have come to thus far has been scanned

Not a moan but more an observation of how big and how many players there are now

And I doubt we've scanned even 1% of the total systems.

That wouldn't surprise me. I am now over 1000ly out and all to myself

Some good finds as well but no black holes yet

Might just be you where on a well traveled route.
A few ways to get out of the main lanes is to either switching to economic for a few jumps or plot a course straight up or down.
Went out to shapely 1 yesterday and got a couple of firsts by chance , wasn't really looking.

This.
Majority of the time people dont really think to go up or down outside of the bubble. They'll just pick their direction and go. Head up or down on the galactic plane a chunk away from the bubble and you'll be finding plenty of Firsts.
