Ok I can't leave it at this....
So, we were working to get In game voice comms going and all was good except Dawg couldn't hear me, but could hear Kharma, then we heard him and he couldn't hear us. So he exited the wing and jumped out.
At this point I find a POI that has some salvage. I am winged with Kharma and get to it first. 2 Cannisters of Tea, one coffee. I snag the coffee and wait for Kharma. He shows up and says "I see Iridium and Bertrandite" or whatever. That is not what I see. So he grabs some. Then he just disappears from my instance. He can see me, I can't see him, and he was just 20m away from me. Then Dawg comes back, and we can hear him and he can hear us.
So we have a choice, we can either speak to each other or see each other. Well I jump out and then we can all talk and see each other. But Kharma still sees a cannister of Bertrandite (or whatever) and Dawg and I see nothing. He shoots it and we hear it explode via his comms.
Well then Dawg decides to be a smart ass, and gets in his turret and shoots some stuff. Then he can't get out of it. We are telling him how much of a useless tit he is, and to just self destruct, cause he is screwed. He finally gets out of turret mode, and confesses that he was feeling claustraphobic, to which Kharma says it could have been worse, he could have had Curry
So off we go to explore at which point I race off and find a steep slope and a crater which I proceed to nosedive into that rolls me. The guys catch up and I take off again and jump off a slope and proceed to to do four backflips and kinda land on my wheels after a few tumbles.
Har Har Wee fun. Well, I say I can break that record and take off across the land heading for an outcrop that is a suitable ramp. I Hit that at full throttle and start to backflip. I counted 3. The guys are suitably "Oooo" and "Awwww" as I spin.
Now remember, I had crashed in a crater before, and did four backflips earlier. I was under 70% hull.
I hit the ground, bounce Once and then there is a huge explosion on my screen. All I see is one of the arms from the front wheel and some parts. Comms breaks up and I lose it as well. We are all busting up over this. What was it Tor said earlier? 12 year olds with Dirt Bikes. HELL YEAH!
It took us a good 4-5 minutes to get our wind back as we discused my 33rd century version of Evel Kenevel Exibition jump.
I go through the rebuy and find myself 150KM above them in my Cobra as my wife calls for me to go pick her up from her Work Christmas dinner. I felt bad having to go, but at least I went out with a Bang! I just hope Kharma was recording it!
