If you've seen this already, watch it again, and smack your gobs at the mind boggling gameplay and development David has envisioned for us.

Good link. I'd seen it before but had forgotten how much here was planned.

Personally, I dislike the idea of boarding actions.I don't like FPS games and the few titles I tried, where you could 'capture' a ship or mech by fighting with the crew/pilot had one distinct problem. Most pilots and Flight sim fans are good with a joystick and love flying. Now during a hot space battle you need to switch to FirstPersonEgoShooter WASD +mouse control and proof your qualities in something like Battlefield... I personally suck at egoshooters.
In the end you loose a ship worth a few million credits, because you can't adapt quick enough to a totally different game? Bugger!

I like the idea of walking freely through stations, starports, or walk on planets, if the game mechanics concentrate on roleplay, interaction and storyline for missions.
But I definitely don't want to see a spacefight turning into Alien vs. Predator on an Anaconda...
