Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Anyone have an alt? If so, why? I've got a boxed version so I could have a second account - I can't really see much benefit, in eve I could low sec mine and my other account could kill those nasty rats that spawned and fend off against lone pilots until I could align and warp

I think the main benefit is for content creators.
As they can have a main for playing and an alt for making content.

Only real benefit for the average joe I can see is if you just like exploring. You could keep your main in the bubble for trading/combat, and one account to just set off into the void.

Or if you want to start anew but dont want to delet your current save.

Personally it might be a bit of both, i signed up for the DW expedition but the last times I went into the black I got antsy after a week and headed back in.

Another account might be a way for me to maintain my sanity after some point :p

I don't have one yet, but had three accounts in eve. At times I even ran all three at the same time as a solo three man gaurdian chain

Perhaps you might enjoy the grind so much you want to double it up.
Wait on multi crew to be implemented, might have a few more answers for you Sir.

If they do multi crew right it should be humanly impossible to manage two seats at once.

But that's only if they do it right.

I bought a second account during the Black Friday sale for the sole purpose of using it for exploration. So far haven't done anything with the account.
