I get banned for using a naughty word (or two...and a fair amount of baiting) and the mod has a friendly chat with a known paedo?

On a slight aside, I used to do some work now and then at Stoke Mandeville hospital where the restaurant was called "Jimmy's". It's amazing how quick you can get new signs made up.

I sent a report in. How sick do you have to get before you get asked to change your name?
Even a mod joined in with the postings!

Googled that name now, had no idea what's the fuss is about.

Man, how come someone is jerk enough to pick a name like that?

As I'm not English/British, the forum name did not ring any bells - I even posted some helpful answers to technical support questions he asked.

Zeiman. No worries. I thought some people may not realise for those very reasons. I didn't know how to raise this as an issue on the Elite forum but I'm glad that that someone here knew how to.

That's how I felt. I stared at it for ages in disbelief. It just seemed too much of a coincidence. I didn't really want to come over to this forum with such a post but over there it's so crowded with people hovering over their keyboards ready to pass judgement I thought the atmosphere would probably be more level headed here.

I just messaged him, asking if he knows his name is well known for not good reasons, and many think he is being insensitive, I suggested he change it. (in a nice way of course).

Just messaged him/her this:

"Are you aware that your name could be considered offensive? Maybe not if you're not from the UK. Please Google the name Jimmy Saville if you are unsure as to the reason I have left you this message."

No excuses now.
