HI all,
Loving Gamma so far, hope everyone is enjoying it.
I have been doing trading runs between Lave and Leesti, at one point I took a mission in Leesti to deliver a something to another station, the station wouldnt let me dock so I had to abandon, I got a fine for that which I understand.
but now for some reason I have a 12,000 credit fine in Lave, but as far as I am concerned I havent done anything wrong.
Any ideas what I could of done to get it ?
I did clip an npc ship whilst entering a station, could that of been it ?

Possibly prohibited goods. You have to be careful what you take through what systems.

Ok, makes sense, will have to be more careful!
So the fine has a timer next to it , will it turn into a bounty after the timer expires?

I had one yesterday. I was expecting a modest fine for delivery failure following server dropouts, but there was an unaccountable 1900cr hit for I don't know what. I may have ever so slightly dinged someone leaving a station - the NPCs are still a bit slow through the letterbox and a bit quick to call harassment. I'm keeping a note of fines attached to deliveries - probably have to add minor infractions to the list to see if there is any correlation between fines and incidents. There must be some logic somewhere.

I figured it out.
I just happened to check my cargo whilst running a trade mission and noticed that I was carrying four units of stolen Auto fabricators.
So when I abandoned the mission earlier on, I didnt realise I would also need to jettison the cargo I was supposed to deliver, I had been carrying this stuff all over the place.
Makes sense really, oh well you live and learn.
should be interesting when I log back in tonight as I will have two bounties, in Lave and Leesti.

If you find a black market, you can sell your "stolen" cargo instead of jettisoning it. That would help paying the fines.
That being said, I still haven't seen a black market, so unless you know where to find one, you'd better get rid of that cargo before your fines multiply.

I had this.
I got a mystery fine of 200cr when I was docked inside a starport and didn't notice that or the fact I was wanted because of it. I tried leaving the starport and then noticed the fine and wanted just before the station scanned me, I gunned my engines but I was in a ZP hauler so I couldn't do anything. 3seconds later and I was dead with an insurance bill of 2k because of a random 200cr fine.

I just check my wanted level every time I check in now. Sure it's a pain and I hope whatever caused it gets fixed but it's not a big problem for me.
