I have just a simple question about the increase in what it takes to make rank. I just went from CPO to Ensign this morning. I noticed the Increase in what it takes to gain rank as expected. Does it continuously grow or does it just level off after Ensign. Thanks in advance.

It grows with every rank, and is not a linear increase - the higher ones are a lot more than the preceding ones.

Fed rank can be bribed, but it is costly in charity donation missions.

Especially now. I got it to Rear Admiral prior to engineers and it was costly then. But I also kept loaded up an Anaconda with goods and handed out food and meds in Tun to raise my ranking there.

I resent the idea of bribery, I prefer to call it an allocation of funds that made promoting me more enjoyable.

Yeah, I figured just as much. I am currently sitting at about 480 mill extra to just spend on the donation missions.

I got both of my ranks pre 2.1, so I'm not entirely up to speed with any changes. But one thing I'd also do to break up the boredom is keep an eye out for cargo missions to see what commodities they usually want for donations and or the back and forth missions.
