Strange...Bug ?

I went to trade my sidey for a hauler and there was no part exchange so to speak........Even though my sidey was upgraded......I thought at least you get something back....

I thought you should get the purchase cost less 10%, unless that's changed. Sounds like it might be safer to sell all the gear first.

Yeah, I found the same today and ticketed it. You get your money back if you sell the upgrades separately before selling the ship, though.

You should sell everything you can from the ship before selling the ship, shields, cargo racks etc.

I think they have it so you can still utilize those parts, like they get removed but stored, so you can use them on your new ship.

Glad I read this thread, I've heavily upgraded my sidewinder with some A1 kit and it would be rather painful to get nothing back for those when I do finally trade in!
