Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I thought the stories of the SRV wave scanner being bugged were exaggerated. After 2.2 landed I could still drive around planets and get pings on my scanner. But now I've been driving around on this planet for the past 30mins and not a single ping.
It's supposed to be an icy planet with water geysers but not a single ping from mineral giving rocks?

When selecting the plant in question, do you get a breakdown of available resources in the system map view?

Also, assume that you flew above 2km and searched for areas of interest on the planet surface before landing?

SRV's wave scanner. Not ship's scanner. Was only briefly looking for POIs on the surface using my ship. Then just landed and went driving around.

Used to be, just a few minutes of driving around in a straight line would give a reading in my wave scanner. But today. No.

Edit: Oh and yes. I did fly my ship 2km above the surface of the planet looking for POIs before landing, just in case I could get a hit. Nothing.

Edit 2: Interestingly my SRV's wave scanner didn't pick up my ship as I was driving to it.

I'm on a rocky planet right now, and getting ping on the wave scanner every few minutes, as expected. Found a couple of POI's too.

Hmm... Will have to check again on another planet before filing a bug report. But I've been reading that this has got quite common.

Happens to the "Team" all the time.....

Just been planet side, ping's and POIs aplenty

Wave scanner is back. Must have been some instancing issue... Hmm...
