Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

ok so I'm starting to realize that I must be one of the worst ED players out there with as many questions as ive asked lol anywho how do I earn merits with my chosen super-power??

There's quite a few different ways, but I guess the overriding question is: what rank do you want to achieve and maintain?

My quick and brainless way for a moderate number of merits is to go to a rival power's control system and interdict/destroy ships until I have enough merits. Good for maintaining up to rank 3 if you're combat orientated.

But for anything other than my very limited playstyle, A Lazy Commander's Guide to Powerplay is probably what you're looking for.

I am in servive of Mahon,

I like the trade aspect of his faction. For me to increase merits you have to run contracts to and from established systems to expansion systems to fortify or prepare for expansion and in turn run contracts back to HQ from established systems to fortify. All while hauling cargo to earn extra % being in Mahon favor.

Only thing needed for the sol permit is to rank up to midshipman with the federation.

i got SOL permit while under ALD. sorry someone has lied to you :c

You have to do missions with the federation icon on to get rank for sol.
