Need help setting up EDSM items.

Hello all, are there any EDSM gurus who can help me set up stuff so i can record my journeys and watch my travels on EDSM?
I am super new to this and dont understand what tools i need to use to make this happen.

I use E:D Market Connector.
Once signed up for EDSM you get an API key (from the settings menu), you just enter this in E:DMC, tick the appropriate box and you are done, as long as you start ED:MC before each game session you don't even need to sign into EDSM until you want to look at your data.
