Congrats on your promotion Duke Jerec! I just did a search on http://eddb.io .... and it seems that there aren't any Li Yong Rui stations that sell the cutter at the moment.

If you can wait, maybe it will become available at a Li Yong Rui station again soon. Otherwise, the next best bet is Jameson Memorial with its 10% discount... if you've reached Elite.

Just buy it.

Don't bother with a cutter. I honestly prefer the t9 in combat.
Yes the t9, not the t10, which is even better.

Can I see the Spec you are running in that please mate?

Just max all the things and put as many packhounds missile launchers as you can.

It's a goof of a ship but for three minutes before the launchers need rearming it's a hoot.
the cutter is a bit disappointing in combat since it is for some supposed to be good.
It's not, it's mostly just a fast pile of shields. And combat in ed is mostly just a matter of damage and time. if you can tank a little you can take anything.

Yes the roll, pitch, and yaw on the types are atrocious but the thrusters are surprisingly responsive. For a giant brick softer than most wettened tissue paper.

Hmmm I can't import a 5C shield into Corolis for my Cutter?

Is there a way around it?

A 5C is too small for the Cutters Mass.

Class 6 shields are a minimum on the cutter, unless you mod some 5's to heavy duty using another ship, then you might, just might be able to online them.

They would be really weak though.

With 1912 MJ, they are stronger than any un-engineered class 6 shield, and almost as strong as an un-engineered 8D. They're certainly enough for preventing bumps and scrapes and running away from pirates.
