Okay so I read that these missles are only if you pledge to Li Long Rui and what I'm wondering is who will that annoy? A friend of mine pledged Empire early and he cant go hardly anywhere in Fed space without pissing in someones breakfast.
So if I pledge to him who will be trying to kill me on a regular basis?

It's been quite a while since I did PP, but I think that if you're outside of your Power's space the "other guys" will be hunting you. It may not be severe, but it'll be annoying.

Yeah pretty close enough.
But they really aren't that helpfull. The damage is not much better, certainly not stuck up in power play for weeks better.
Besides. Missiles in this game is a very toothless weapon type in ed.
For starters they practically useless on shields.
If target has point defence and most do, you need something like at least three of these to fire a dozen missiles at once and end up hoping three of them connect.
Most times you hope to smother the pdf so I got three launchers on, and empty all of them in one go. Expecting barely a third of the missiles to connect.
That is something like 12 missiles per shot, you four times that by emptying the mag.
And if even you managed to not run into a pdf, it still takes at least a full barrage just to kill a cobra mk3.
After it's shields where taken down by another weapon..
The missile swarm looks great though in VR. But that's the only intangible benefit to them, so
The few launchers I tucked in storage is used for goofball builds.
Like the only ship that has them on as a mainstay is my t9 battlecow.
If you actually want to bh with some success I would rather go with basic lasers and multi cannons.

Had 4 racks on the Cutter never fire when shields are online it worked nice for larger ships great for those couple final kill shots in VR but I like heat and lead. The other guys keep hunting you at times appears to be non-stop, but that to was a long time ago.

Yeah the other powers hunting you was pretty relentless before.
Last time when I stayed in to get access to the pack hounds and prismatic shields it had been dialled down to almost no fuss what so ever.
Only place I ran into a spot of bother was if i went into a res in hostile space.
But power play in general has been an ignored feature since it implementation.
It only persist in game as a method for finding consensual PvP.
The various mods has been made utterly superfluous, you are far better off just engineering normal modules than even bothering with the power unique modules.

Well yes I do believe that but there is always the edge hunters (any edge is an edge) sort of like Over Clocking most of us gamers have PC's we can O/C from CPU, GPU, Ram and mobo built for it. I will O/C if a game needs it but run normal unless required. My buddy full Over Clocking and I do not believe WOW requires O/C PC

Okay so if a station is controlled by a Hostile power can you still land there and get missions? or is it just like having a bounty where you can only refuel?
I'm becoming kinda attached to the Ngalinn cash run with the single station in both locations. and I believe its technically an Empire planet. I'm finishing up farming 250 million there for a Python, and would find it a bit frustrating if I have to locate a new cash cow

As far as the Engineering goes, I've only unlocked one of those so far and I have no idea how i even got the materials for those upgrades..
