OoM at ***WAR*** in Exioce!

I was in Group mode in Mobius, and went to the first Hi CZ I saw. There were 4 other commanders there, so getting kills was hard to come by.

So I dropped out of the CZ, and went into Solo mode. I checked every planet: O'rourke, Democracy, and Exo 3 through 8. No High CZ's with OM as a faction. They were all CZ's with the other two factions fighting.

Not really interested in Low CZ's, so maybe I'll help some other time.

I imagine that it may be a bit crowded there, at least for the first couple of days of the war. One option is to join another Mobius player's private group. It's pretty easy, and I have one myself.

Here's a link on creating or joining a private group. If I am in Exioce and the CZ is busy, I plan to invite a few guys to wing up in my private group. I hope that other commanders will do the same.

Around the 950K mark to.

Had a very strange glitch, was in the Low CZ targeted the ship that was firing on me only to see it was Dawg, ok just cross fire then, targeted the next ship (an NPC) who was firing on me and opened fire, then noticed it was an OoM ship, stopped firing then every ship went red. Jumped out, jumped back in and there were no Commanders there. Good old FD instancing!

Now the NPC wasn't cross fire, it was most certainly attacking me even though we were on the same side.

Lonewolfing it against a Master Vulture......

Looks like the bast had Plasmas and targeted my powerplant......

Thought I was doing quite well.....Had his shields down and hull at 61% and then my powerplant went.....

Just might consider getting a Vulture for this one........

On watch back......He hit me 3 times with the Plasma......

2 took out my shields and he one shotted my powerplant.......

Obviously my "Close up and personal" style did me no favours there......

Not when you're staring down the barrel of a Plasma......

And thrusting up instead of down did not help......I'm rusty......I blame Dawg.....

Maybe it would be useful if everyone logged their bonds, so we know what effort/what time is needed to win wars?

I'm sorry to say that, if you are trying for the system, you probably won't win this war. There is only one reported system flip since 1.5/2.0 went live and all other conflicts have seen influence swings in the right direction but no transfer of ownership.

I've just entered a system that has been in a War state for a couple of weeks only to find no battlefield.

I feel for you, two FDLs down here, first to a ramming happy Clipper, second to a pack of ships who took out my powerplant. Switched to the FAS which is a much better survivor (plus setting up my power priorities properly).

Apologies Xe.. I didn't have you targeted (certainly hope not ), but I did have the turrets already blasting away. I think it was this that may have triggered the start to the incident?...but for all of us..? I didn't get a fine or a wanted tag either..?

Maybe a, "Dear FD.." incident?

PS - Turrets are all on fire forward now, just in case..!
