Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi All.

Proposal: Organise an exploration group of Mobius Members to explore the 500.

I know it's a bit early, we don't know in which direction the expansion will go but I thought we may as well see if there are any Mobius members who are interested in pushing the boundaries and aim for the furthest stars in the new range.

I have a Anaconda and a few mill credits and plan on getting the Asp and kitting it out. Then setting off, initially just star hopping (I hope there is a fuel scoop), reaching the farthest point or points and the slowly work back towards civilisation. Gathering the exploration data, with the occasional return trip to sell that data.

Perhaps we could create a hit list of targets and map our progress here in this forum.

I’ll be up for it, if I can afford the Asp and the gear (I only have a Lakon 6 and about 3 millions cr at the moment).

Lakon 6 with only 5-digit credits on the board, so I have to do some massive trading to get enough for these kind of exploring. I do like to be part of it, let's coordinate what, when and where when Beta 2 is here.

I'm up for it. I have been looking forward to exploration since they announced it was coming out and I am looking forward to giving it a go. Need to get some major haulage under my belt though xD

I would love to, if time allows. Have a type 6 and 2 mil at the moment, might be enough for one longer expedition.
Are you thinking about flying at the same time always, or just in the same direction and helping each other when we meet at waypoints?

Aye, Id be up for a bit of that exploring thingy.

Same as me. Pretty fond of my L6. I wonder if the Asp has what it takes to knock me out of my boots, like it did first time around... Time will tell..

I had not formed a plan as such, I would say though that going in small groups and/or meeting up at waypoints would be the way to go. We can discuss targets once the beta2 is out.

I would envisage that most others may explorer each system in turn as they expand out, if fuel scoops are in Beta 2 then I'd jump as far out as possible then work my way back, as long as I don't get lost.

I'm totally open to ideas, plans, strategies to do this.
Let see if we can get the Mobius Group on the map, maybe a home world for us - we must be one of the largest groups outside of 'All'

Note to self: Get TeamSpeak sorted - would be a good start.
