Searching for System Factions / Bounty Payers

I tried clearing off my transactions tab and I've got a couple listings and I have no idea where they came from. The Empire I can find, but is there some way to find
Purple Dynamic Commodities or
People's Co-Operative? I've tried searching the map with no luck. Is there some way to coax more info out of the transaction tab? Is there some online list somewhere? (I couldn't find one)

I probably picked these up while traveling when I got interdicted by pirates and before I even knew that system factions issued bounties. I can live w/o the credits, but I'm getting sick of seeing them. It would be nice if there was a bounty broker on the contact page that would buy them for 50% of face value, or even 25%! In the meantime, I'll just keep checking each system map until I finally find these factions again.
Thanks.

I agree! You should submit this idea to Frontier!
I got rid of four or five of these ghost bounties groups yesterday, when I was bounty hunting in a RES and let myself be surprised by the night. My shields absorbed the impact with the first rock, but the second one was fatal to my hull. And to those bounties.

What happens if you buy a Sidewinder and then crash it? Will that clear it?
Is the annoyance factor so great that you can be bothered to lose a few k on the sell back for a cheap ship? Obviously you don't want to go crashing a Python/Anaconda just to clear those bounties but a Sidewinder would be fun.

I Googled those groups and frm my results it seems that the Purple one is in Reorte (near Lave, as far as I remember) and the People's one is LHS 6128 (dunno where that is though but at least you can search for it on the Galaxy Map now)

That would work. And you don't even have to crash it. Self destruct is good enough.

Thanks. I remember now that I didn't want to turn in the bounties in Reorte because I didn't want to support that faction. I guess you just need to run from pirates in systems where you don't want to support the controlling faction. As for LHS 6128, I don't think I've ever been anywhere near there. I don't doubt there are factions with the same name littered throughout the galaxy.
I can live with just a couple of these on the transaction tab, but I did have 15-20 before I tracked most of them down. With the KWS, you can pick up bounties from systems you've never visited and have no way to find unless the transaction tab lists the system name. Kind of stupid, but not expected from Frontier. I'd suggest my idea about the broker, but I think they are sick of hearing my many suggestions, though they've never said a word about them despite generally good support from other players.
