A Couple 'A' Quezzies

Been playing a lot more recently and trying out new things.

1. One thing I tried to do was follow my mission target (to give Combat
Stabilisers to) through his Low Energy Wake, but I kept overshooting as there was no speed/distance timer such as you get with Signal Sources. Is this normal? If so, how do I get a good approach to drop out within the right distance?

2. Also, I couldn't sell my Illegal Goods on the Black Market (which were still in my Cargo Bay as I had failed with my rendezvous). So Mission Illegal Cargo doesn't sell on the BM?

3. And lastly, I have trouble getting the mouse pointer to 'stick' to systems in the Galaxy Map. When I eventually do get the cursor attached to a system it 'jumps off' as soon as I move the pointer to the System Map or Data of that Star System so I'm doing this kind of juggling act with the mouse and the screen. Is it to do with the Mouse settings in the game or because I've got a low quality supermarket wireless KB&M?

I'm new to PC gaming before ED so be gentle if you're facepalming :D

Cheers in advance Fly however you want ;)

I have #3. Have to click ON a station before I can move to the Nav box & plug it in as destination.

Just one more bug that made it through beta :(

On no.2, had you discarded your mission? You can't sell mission specific cargo if you still retain the mission (failed or not).

For #1 it is normal , slow as you get as you want to be kilometers per hours when you get to it and when it is under 1mm and KMP as well leave supercruise.

I'm sorry I can't help with 2 as I've never tried to sell mission cargo on the black market.

3 depends on how close other stars are around.. because if they are close and you just move the mouse it will move to the new star. It just takes a little getting used to or you can lower the mouse sensitivity so that the mouse moves slower and may allow you to pinpoint where you are wanting the pointer to go better.

And welcome to PC gaming, will get no meanness from me. Everyone was new at one point.

On 3, FD have changed the systems map so that the pop-up info box doesn't obscure the thing you want to click on, this means it jumps about a lot now. You just need to zoom in a bit and you'll be fine

Don't think I worded my queries very well. Cheers all the same! I'll just have to guess like so many other things in the game ;)

The current method for dropping into wakes simply suck ass.

You have no range and targeting the wake DOES NOT adjust your speed as with any other signal like uss's etc. So you can approach it at 30km/s, nudging the throttle 1mm up and your speed jump up to several times the speed of light so you blow past it and need to circle around again...

It pisses me off to no end so by the time I get into the wake I need to count to ten and do zen breathing exercises as to not deploy guns and murder anything I see wanted or not.

If the mission system wants to offer me something they can have the fucking decency to interdict me..
