Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hej

I don't know if I am just being stupid but I had a type 6 trader which had no weapons (I sold them for more cargo space - I think; it was some time ago) and I have an advanced scanner which worked when I held down the trigger button on my joystick.

The other day I traded my type 6 for a type 7 trader. This ship has weapons and a basic scanner. However when I depress the trigger on my joystick the weapons deploy. Fair enough, but how do I get my scanner to operate? I've checked the settings and there appears to be no option for mapping a button to the scanner. I'm at a loss.

The scanner is setup along weapons in the right hand fire groups panel, switching mods and certainly a new ship you will need to redefine your fire groups.
