Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hello everybody!

Im looking for some conflict zones to indulge in my destructive nature every now and then, sure bounty hunting and getting interdicted means i get to blow something up once in a while, but im sometimes im in the mood to do some constant killing.

So if anyone knows of any conflict zones let's say within 50ly's of sol please let me know, since the old conflict zones i hung out in during the beta have gone away with the introduction of the gamma realease.

According to this there should be one in Zeus, however I have only a vague idea how far away from Sol it is.
Using a 50LY jump range on the route planner it gave two jumps.
(1) CPD-28 332 (28.4352 ly)
(2) Zeus (34.1378 ly)

Might be a place to look

Edit, i''ve indeed found a couple conflict zones in zeus. There's no mention of them in the news when at a station, but they are near Katherineb station. (perhaps there no mention of any of the conflict zones in any of the systems on the news, so that might explain why i hadn't encountered any yet)

There appear to be plenty of conflict zones in Sol today.

I finally reached Zeus today, over 100ly journey in an Eagle. I've been buzzing around the inner worlds and the two stations there, but haven't found any conflict zones. I'm tired of the security ships in the nav beacon areas and really want to get back to open warfare like Eranin had back in the Beta days. Anyone know if the Zeus zones are still there? I'd hate to journey all the way to Sol just to find out the conflicts have moved on again.

EDIT: Zeus isn't showing any "civil wars" when I check the station status. Haven't been there yet so I guess I'll make my way to Sol.

EDIT2: Ok, made it to Sol. Found a Low Intensity zone around Venus. Jumped in and joined the Mother Gaia faction (was the only one on the selection). All the Gaia and system ships were just flying around, giving each other the evil eye, but no one was fighting a shot. Not much of a conflict. Guess I'll go back in and attack one of the enemy ships. I hate to think that I'll be the one to fire the shot heard around the star system.

Not chicken... a turkey shoot maybe. Went in and attacked a system ship (was yellow/neutral) and absolutely none of the other ships attacked me. I blew it up, got no bounty, no bond, no wanted status, in fact they just didn't seem to care. Shot up another one in the middle of the fleet and they just flew away. Same thing when I went to a High intensity zone. I assume they must be waiting for the real bad guys to show up. I might have to turn pirate just to find a good fight.

There are two high intensity conflict zones near Earth right now if I may believe my navigation screen.
Earth has a civil war at this moment. So get back to SOL!
