Fuel scooping heating changed?

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed a change to heat build-up while fuel scooping?
I used to head towards the star and, when scooping had started and heat gotten up to around 60%, throttle back to minimum and just sit there.
I've tried scooping recently and found that the temperature just keeps getting higher, even though I'm sat at zero throttle.
I've had to abandon scooping and head away as the temperature was getting to critical levels.
I never experienced this before 2.2, is it something that's changed?
I'm also getting poor frame rates at times, even though I'm running a GTX 1070, and graphics "stutter". I'm still trying out different graphics setting but I would have thought that with my setup it should handle high detail easily.
I'm not seeing issues with other games, I've got Skyrim SE and that's running fine on Ultra.

Seems to depend on the star type. I like M class, doesn't seem to keep heating up. But you do have to approach slowly.

Yeah, but I've scooped hundreds of times, been to Sag A and back in my Asp, and I don't remember ever having heating problems like I'm seeing now.

I think scooping generates more heat now, since 2.2 went live.

They are playing around with heat on very large basis with this deployment.
And it seems they can tweak this with server side changes and don't have to deploy client fixes at all to adjust it.

So yes. Caution in all things.
