Hello CMDRs,

I'm doing bounties and have enough credit upgrade to a new ship.
What you guys think is best , ASP or Vulture ?
I was thinking ASP because have better jump-range.

Thanks in advance for your advice :)

Vulture hands down.

Vulture is a combat high performance ship.

The asp scout is the Toyota Hiace of the space lanes.

yeah. depends on what you want to do. asp scout leans toward multipurpose hold. while vulture is pure combat

If you're doing bounties jump range isn't as big a deal as combat capability. You can always dock along the way on a long journey if you don't carry a fuel scoop.

I currently have an Asp which I use for long range exploration. I've been to Sag A and back in it. Has a Jump Range of about 31 LY.

sorry I forgot to mention that I work also on power and need to move item around quite often so with longer jump I could do it faster.

Atm I use a Viper Mk4 for bounties but takes ages to move items around.

So the ASP compared to the Viper Mk4 is a good upgrade for bounties ?

Maybe I should just buy and Adder/Hauler put a 3A FSD and just used it to move items around and got for Vulture ?

Given your current game play I would say that a Vulture is your best bet for combat, and a second ship like a hauler or adder (for now) for PP hauling.

Go for the Vulture, and you will have more than enough credits for a full grown Asp Explorer in no time ;)

But that's probably and asp x not the scout.

I looked at the scout and honestly it has as much issues with long range or just basic mp work as the dbx, in fact I would rather recommend the dvx than a scout.

While the scout is the Hiace of the space lanes the asp explorer is the Volkswagens caravelle.

;)

I converted my explorer conda into a miner and got the asp x for exploring.
