Skimmer assault missions

Does anyone understand the bgs enough to tell me what to look for in a system for generating lots of skimmer missions?

A hint I use a lot is, if I open the mission board.
And see a lot of skimmer missions.
Usually means theres a lot of skimmer missions.

Now do you have something constructive to say in response to the question asked - I'll put it a slightly different way
Do you know what states a system is in on the Galaxy map to possibly indicate that I'm liable to find skimmer missions a plenty ?

Not really.
That would mean giving two cans of biowaste about whatever happens to the BGS.

When there as a mass spawn of Skimmer missions in some system which i can't remember (sorry), the missions dried out if state switched away from "War" (or "Civil War", not absolutely sure).
My best guess is to look for Reddit threads that have Skimmers as topic.

That makes sense - war... Minor faction with low influence In X system - the factions in X system generate missions for the low influence factions home system - which triggers the famine missions as well...
It's not something you will work out from just looking at the galaxy map, you will need to jump in to see the influence levels...
