So, i've been running missions in Procyon for Sirius Corp to unlock an engineer...
I finally hit allied last night so headed off to Sirius - I figured once I docked I'd get the invite... Not so lucky... Any ideas what I need to do now, early posts on the tinternet suggest it was bugged if you didn't have allied before engineers landed, I'm guessing that last been resolved?
TIA

It might take a while before the mission pops.
When I have these cases I have just logged off and taken a break, and find it next time I log in.

Its frustrating but just stay inSirius, running missions for them from all stations and it'll pop eventually.

Yup ^^^^ these.
It seems to take a bit, and running missions for the locals may help too. The invite will come soon, I'm sure. Well.... relatively sure.... er.... or at least I think it'll show up sometime this week.

Thanks - I tell you what has struck me whilst grinding rep, I've a navy mission I've been avoiding because I've not been In The right ship or been able to get the right modules to compete it, I've noticed that this mission sometimes doesn't come back for hours... Was worried at one point - love the inconsistency the mission board brings
Thanks again all

Especially permit missions are wierd this way.
I keep seeing them all over when I'm grinding for the reply, but as soon as I have said rep, their nowhere to be seen.

I think I saw an improvement to this in the release notes for the 2.3 beta.
I found the best way to fix it is to raise a ticket. They don't fix it but somehow the world loves to prove you wrong when you officially say stuff isn't right.

Unfortunately with these types of missions, even though you have met all of the requirements it is still random when they populate on your mission board.
Currently the most effective way to make these types of missions appear is to 'cycle the board'. Log out to the menu and then back in until the mission populates. Sad, and a bit gamey, but it works.
Good luck cmdr!
