Here is a quick list of what I have picked up since I bought ED. Note: All prices are approx as I can't remember exactly, and are in Swiss Francs so they will appear high.

Base Game 57
X52 Pro 124
New Speakers 50
Headset #1 40
Headset #2 50
Replacement for Headset #2 50
ED Tracker Pro 85
Python Paint Pack 15
USB Hub 30
Assorted USB Extension Cables 30
New Monitor 150
Voice Attack 9
2 HCS Voice Packs 25
Desk Footrest 15
Horizons 50

I think that is about it. So a Total of 780. Oh Good lord. What the hell! This was a scary excercise. And I still need a new PC! Good grief Charlie Brown, I am nuts.

But it works out to about 1.45 chf per hour of entertainment. And that will go down the more I play.. That is how I am justifying it....

I’ve maxed out all the graphics settings in game, and I downsample from 2560x1600 to 1920x1200. The result is amazing, compared to the GTX 770 it replaces. I’ve set the game to limit the framerate at 60FPS, and I’ve never seen it go below.

I am running on MSI Lightning 980 Ti 3 monitors

The new 4K G Sync one, an 1440p and a 1080p.

ED is on Ultra settings Terrain works at max, borderless

When I had the 1440p as primary never saw anything bellow 59.7.
Now at 4k occasionally I have 55 at starports and on planets near a port I have seen as low as 44 not bad I would say considering the detail and the resolution.

But the card is working much harder even in space.

Considering that Elite is the only game I play (Star Citizen is still not out) it is very very expensive for me as I build a PC just for this.

I refuse to make the calculation but I think I am close to 3K Euros... and still I need to buy a decent speaker set.

I was playing with the monitor speakers and because the new monitor has no speakers I used headphones and wow! The difference is huge. Excellent sounds that you can't hear from the monitor speakers
