Just set up my new 27" monitor......I must say it's rather nice......Colours are good....Really nice picture

This is only phase 1....Still waiting for the double desk mount to arrive so I can clear some desk space....

Now I can see Dawg faffing around and Loriath exploding in all their glory..

I just don't see how you can play with that bright window right in front of you.

Santa came early for me too. All I'm getting this year (so far ) is a new headset to replace my old Plantronics set, that I only got because it was at the nearby store about 12 years ago. He found a good sale on a Sennheiser PC 363D, 7.1 headset with noise cancelling mic. I've only just tried it out and it is pretty amazing. The TrackIR clips on perfectly too.

That's why the curtains are always drawn.....Plays havoc with TrackIR otherwise.....Besides it's my room so obviously it's not important (according to the Mrs ) and the very last room in the house to get done up.....There is going to be blinds there......At some point....

That sounds like a good headset.......Sennheiser.....I like their stuff....

I have some foldable put in case small over ear phones from them.....Great sound.....Better than in ear buds...Which I just cannot get on with.....

UPDATE......

Monitor mount finally arrived....Only ordered on the 12th Dec.....

Gained some desk back......

Also bought myself some Turtle Beach X12's.......The headset I had was giving me an ear/headache after about an hour.....They are quite a nice set for £25.....
