They are backed up daily, as are my logs, my config files, my Voice Attack files :) Like I said earlier, been there done that.

Back up and running and it appears that the drivers HAVE fixed my issue. I am 99% complete just a couple of small apps to install but nothing vital.

Hat off to you cmdr. See you out there!

I hate installing re-installing my work/play computers... Work computer was taking at least a couple of days for all the apps I needed. Now I am working on VMs so I just transfer my work VM to the new rig and that's it.

Play computer is another story though...Can''t VM that...

But there are no data on my desktop. Everything is on a RAID5+Spare setup on a W2K12 server continuously mirrored over to another RAID5 external box... (Reached 6Tb) Occasionally I mirror the critical data (1Tb) to an external disk to have it mobile.

I know I am crazy :)

Not crazy at all! I would love to have a good RAID5 NAS box for my stuff. Maybe even RAID6 so that two drives can fail before all is gone. But I guess RAID6 is rare. Having mirrored RAID5 would be awesome. If only I could afford even a regular RAID5 NAS first :(
Maybe on some ugly day in the future.. Until then I have to use regular external usb drives for backup and storage.
I play on PC, in the Mobius PVE Eurasia group.

RAID 6 or RAID 60 is awesome but costly.
I am not using a NAS. I have a W2K12 server with an LSI SAS controller and a total of 17 disks:

But is you are interested in RAID6 or 60 I have an iSCSI Dell Powervault MD3000i with dual power supplies and controllers for sale :)
Wife thinks it is too noisy...

Just a note that has never happened on Windows 7.

Last night my Map keys were not working. Did some investigating and discovered that ED had changed all my bindings files to en-GB layout which is not correct. My keyboard is a de-DE layout and has been for a couple of weeks before the upgrade. It was fine before and after the little update that FD pushed out (2.0.03) the other day.

I have manually changed the layout in the binds files and will try again later. This was never an issue under Win7 so I am not sure if its a Win10 or ED problem.

Bad news folks. Windows 10 has stopped detecting devices when I plug them in. I did a Windows refresh with the same results.

I am restoring Windows 7 to determine if it's a hardware failure or not. Will post more when I have restored my image.

That is very strange. Remind me is it a fresh W10 install or upgrade?

Good luck !

It was a clean install. I never upgrade, too many issues.

Windows 7 reinstalled and running perfectly so it's not a hardware issue. It may be that my hardware is just now t up to it.
