ED and SLI

I finally got a second card, and got everything up and running in SLI. Everything works fine, all other games play. ED will not work in SLI (of course since that is the game I got it for) I have tried different drivers, multiple settings and no luck. I disable SLI, and it works fine. Each individual card works fine. All other games work with no problem in SLI. When I start ED all I get is a black screen, no sound, no picture. It acts like it is starting up but hangs. There is no tabbing out, or task killing. I had you tube on in the back ground once. That was still running fine in the background, but ED hung everything up and had to manually reset. Banging my head on this one because I want to go triple screens, but have to get this SLI working in ED first.

When you first install/run ED it detects the hardware and suggests settings (if my memory isn't shot).
I've wondered before if there is a way to get the app to do that again, perhaps it needs to run through that?
I tried removing the graphics xml file (forget proper name) but that just borked the game fully and I had to verify, and it still didn't run the setup thingy. Wonder how to make it do that?

If you run Nvidia Gforce Experience, it has an Optimise setting for Elite Dangerous, it's available with the Latest Drivers from Nvidia.
I am running 2 x Gforce 580's in SLI and have been since I started Beta.

Do run Nvidia Experience, I have the latest drivers. Both cards work fine individually. Just not in SLI for ED. SLI works fine for every other game and application other than ED. May take a bit for them to sift through my info, sent them dxdiag info. Also followed the suggested
Please could you follow these steps:
• Start the game
• Encounter the "Black screen"
• Run the 32-bit version of the task manager: c:\windows\syswow64\taskmgr.exe
• Right-click on EliteDangerous.exe, and select "create dump file"
• Upload this dump to a cloud storage service (eg Dropbox, SkyDrive, OneDrive).
• Send us a public link so we can download and investigate it.
Just waiting for some info back, So far has been good service for this ticket. For now I just have the application set to run with one GPU. At least it is playable that way.
