Problems with this, installed on wednsday evening and it worked fine, thursday morning, no IP address on lan error.

Shut down and restarted and all ok, again this afternoon so I tried to manually configure the IP and the config froze when I had entered the ip details and hit ok.

Uninstalled team speak, as thats the only new programme I have installed and alls good. anyone had this issue and if you did what's the fix?

Not hugely bothered about TS though as I use mumble with a small group and that works fine but it would be nice to engage in some group fun and games.

I've never got that problem but all my machines have a static (manually defined) IP on my LAN. That being said, if Windows complains that it has no IP on the LAN, you should be able to reset the DHCP to get you router to give it a new IP without rebooting. Or you could try to set it up with a static IP and then re-install TeamSpeak.

(I moved the thread to the Hardware and Technical sub-forum.)

Thanks, I will try to set up a static IP and reinstall, it wouldn't let me when TS was installed.

Annoyingly the router and everything else is fine, just the one machine that I use, kids think its hilarious that I am having troubles....grr

That's weird. We're talking about TeamSpeak 3 client, right?

we are, set the ip manually and the same thing happened. worked fine and when I installed TS it worked well until the next day when, no ip address again. Uninstalled TS and restarted and all good.

We used TS at Aerelon gaming on CS source years ago and it was a pain in the ass then so we switched to something else( cant remember what) and then to mumble.

Would you have TS set to launch automatically at startup? I always launch TS by hand and exit it when I'm done using it, and again I've never got that kind of problem. I'm on Windows 7, BTW.

Hail and well met folks!

Looks like our regular TeamSpeak channel is down for maintenance on 3/9-3/10 according to the About page. page/ts

Feel free to join on my FPS Clan's TeamSpeak! I am an admin there, and we have a Elite Dangerous Room or 2. Guests are welcome to koin rooms. I can admin there if anyone needs TS or channel assistance.
