Just got a GTX 970:

I only have a 6 pin connector from my PSU. My PSU is 650W and is 80 Plus Bronze rated and it came with the Gigabyte case (I built this rig last October and am new to building (Mobo: Asus Z87-K, CPU: 4th Gen i5 4660, GPU: EVGA GT 740 SC)) and I have had no problems with black outs and such.
As a solution, I ordered a 2xMolex to 8 Pin Adapter :

Will this work? I've been reading up a bit on line but have little knowledge regarding electrics, but my understanding is that all the connections from the PSU are at 12 Volts and the components draw the required Watts that they regulate so, so long as the wires and connections are rated for the Amp load it should be OK. Is this right? As anyone in the know can probably tell, I know nothing about this sort of thing.
Cheers for any advice
