Well I need to change the case also as it needs 2,5 slots but I found a nice small Cooler master one (N200) for less than 50 Euros.

Of course it will take me whole evening to change to the new box but I hope that it is going to worth the time the effort and the money

Well can't technically blame horizons...

But so far I have been "forced" to get a new ultra wide screen. That of course meant my 960 wasn't entirely up to snuff so in came a 980ti 6GB ..

Now I thought that would be fairly over kill but horizons is using almost 5.5 gig of video ram on surface.

Was it necessary, well probably not but it sure is nice :D

I sold my 970 and a laptop I had so the money was burning a hole in my pocket. :)

I was thinking of a 980 for quite some time now but 980 Ti with 6 gigs looks better :) Running now on two monitors a 27" 2560x1440 (game windowed) and a 21"1920x1080 where the browser is. The 970 was going full speed with the fans when docked but the 980 Ti is now at 38% fans so I guess it will be a bit quieter also..

Waiting for my 4K 28" now... :)

What resolution are you running?

Very nice :) - going getting bits for my new one on Monday - holding back on gfx card tho until I've thoroughly tested horizons on planets - my 4gb 960 didn't struggle last night but I was only on mercury

Thanks!
Took me a couple of hours to change to a different case But no regrets... In space I hardly hear any fans and there are 3 in the case in the GPU and 1 with the radiator for the CPU
