Is there a good reason (or even better, a fix) for mouse look not working if you have anaglyph or side-by-side 3D enabled?

I would assume it would have to do with overlapping keybinds, main example I can think of is if I am checking galaxy map while i'm in space and I have my hotas throttle set to anything other than 0 throttle I'm unable to do anything on the galaxy map as the throttle overrides everything. if you have 3d enabled the 3d unit is technically your mouse in mouselook mode.
At least that's the way I understand it, as for a fix.. unsure.

I sometimes use side-by-side 3D on a Panasonic active 3D TV and had no problems with mouse look or any other controls while playing ED. It works exactly the same as when I use it as a standard monitor (I use keyboard and mouse). Could try defaulting the controls in game settings.

Thanks for replying. I tried resetting controls (by using "Classic keyboard only") and it made no difference. Mouse look works (toggled by the middle mouse button) only if 3D is off: anaglyph or SbS - doesn't matter.
