I just ordered the TrackHat Clip and camera. Any other users? Tips/Tricks? Also they didn't specify how they were shipping or nor did I want to pay an additional $6 for tracked shipping (which is BS but I can't complain for being $100 less than TrackIR)... To my point, about how long is the shipping? I am just going to assume a couple of weeks to ship to the U.S.

Edit:
I just realized that the camera they sell is a PS3 camera that has been modified. Is that legal in the UK? It doesn't seem that Sony would appreciate this practice... Just sayin'.

If it's anything like TrackIR, it'll be awesome.

I have the clip and the camera, bought it last year and I'm still happy with it. Just a couple of days ago updated the Opentrack software to 1.2p2 and it looks cleaner than the older ones.

I don't really have much tips to tell, the install was easy, at first I used "CL-Eye Test" to adjust the image so that the camera pretty much sees only the leds of the clip. In the Opentrack software I adjusted the yaw, pitch and roll curves to my liking, and assigned a keybind for re-centering.

The biggest "problem" was to figure out how to mount the clip to my headphones well enough. But in the end all it took was just a couple of zip ties. I ran the cable over the headband so that it comes out on the same as the headphone cable itself, so I don't have cables everywhere.

I had no tracking number either, and the package found itself to Finland in reasonable time. Can't remember how long it took but I can remember that I did not have to start wondering if it's stuck somewhere.

Opentrack also lets you bind the "Center View" command to a joystick button as well. I had a spare, hard to reach while playing the game, button that I used for the odd time I needed to recentre the view (mainly due to me constantly changing my seating position!)
