I recently purchased a T-16000M joystick to replace my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. It is much better in regards to accuracy and dead zones. Its main problems are two fewer buttons on the stick, and the button on the base are very hard to reliably use w/o looking at them - I usually hit two at a time. I was very surprised to see that this upgraded joystick does not offer any additional buttons. It would have been great if they added a couple buttons on the top (or hats) and a pinky switch. The only real upgrade I could see was the braille bumps and depressions on the base buttons which should make them easier to operate w/o looking at them. I may upgrade again just to get this feature. Hopefully there will be a software upgrade too that will allow you to apply curves to the axes like on CH products.

I don't need a throttle, but theirs looks pretty good. The paddle switches up front are a nice feature. My main concern is that it looks like the analog stick is on the front and operated by your index finger instead of on the side and operated by your thumb. It just feels like I can make minor adjustments easier using my short thumb than out at the end of my long finger. Still, this looks like a nice low cost option vs. CH and Saitek.

Excellent news. I'm very happy with my Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X for now, but it's good to know that a quality upgrade is out there.

Yeah. Three years in and mine's still going strong. The stick is a bit squeaky now but it's still operational. Not bad for thirty Sov's.

Funny, mine is too. But it still works flawlessly, and as you say, can't beat the price.

So many buttons.... I've been wanting to get a HOTAS setup for elite since I started playing.... PS4 Controller just isnt cutting it. I think Ill hold off a little longer until this launches. I've had the tflight hotas in my amazon cart for months, but it seems a little flimsy and lacks buttons. Ideally I'd like to be keyboard free if possible.
