Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Somehow,. the geniuses over at Microsoft decided to put out that bloody freckin annoying USELESS 80's Caps Lock crap out of the box again, after the last update. I disabled the frecker though a Registry hack and it worked like a charm, even binding Elite keys to it. Yes Microsoft, we don't like to dance by your We Know Better Than You tune.
Now CAPS LOCK IS BACK (sorry caps).
Anyone experiencing the same? How to shoot down that useless pain in the backside while still keeping the key functional for porper use, ie Elite keybinding?
I am really really annoyed about this idiotic time sink.

Umm.... I guess I haven't run across the problem. What exactly is going on with the caps lock key?

wELL i DISAbled it successfully, but used it for keyboard commands in Elite (like CapsLock+J = hyperspace).
Now after the update, the bastard went live again, messing up messaging thoroughly. I usually don't like "shout" accidentally to other players only because some derelict key capitalizes all letters.
