X45 and Win7 software or driver issue

Having some issues trying to get the old X45 working on a new (to me) machine.

Hardware seems to be working fine. In the driver control panel all buttons and axes work, I can map buttons and axes in game and everything works.

In MadCatz programming software, which seems to support the x45, if I program a key press to any button it seem to repeat as if the button is held down :P

Anyone ever experience this? Is there a fix?

Anyone running windows 7 64bit have a working X45? If so, what driver/programming software are you using? If possible can you point me to a download link?

Should not need the software if windows sees all the functions. I don't use it on my X52 Pro with no issues. ED sees all of it. If you need to do macros (like docking requests) there are much more suitable ways, such as Voice Attack or Autohotkey.

You need software to program pinky switch and mode switch modes. You effectively have 6 modes.

In game mapping works well, its what I've been dealing with for the last few months but I need more buttons.
