Headphones (Logitech G35) keeps disconnecting/reconnecting

I originally put this up in the ED forums, but it doesn't look like I'm going to be getting any responses there, so might as well see if you guys know what's up.
I'm using a USB-powered Logitech G35, and whenever I use it with Elite, it'll intermittently disconnect the device and reconnect a bit later. I've used these headphones for a while, and this doesn't happen anywhere else except when I'm also running Elite. If it was just an audio issue, I can deal with, but since I'm also using the mic for Voiceattack, it can get quite annoying.
Has anyone experienced something like this or is this a known issue right now?

Does the problem exist on a different PC?
Have you tried using an older version of the Logitech software?

This issue doesn't happen anywhere else, with any other game, program, etc. Only with ED.
Yeah, I actually reverted back to a 2010 driver (pre-Logitech Gaming Software) just for this. I'll try out what the video instructed and get back to you.

Excuse the double post please, but DustKart you're a damn miracle worker. I never thought it would an issue with the mic settings. Things are so far so good now! Thanks a bunch!

It's amazing what google can do!
but I have had "audio quality" issues with games before.
Glad you seem to have it sorted.
