Forgive me Father, I have sinned! - kb/m

Hey folks.
So... I've had my x56 since before I ever started playing Elite (flight sims). So from day 1 (November 2016) I've only played with the HOTAS. Until yesterday.
My wife bought me a brand new Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire keyboard and a Corsair Scimitar Pro mouse (just cause she loves me
) After getting it all hooked up, I was browsing the internet and reading about kb/m vs hotas in Elite and stumbled across an incredibly impressive youtube video.
So I thought to myself, why not? Let's give it a try. And try I did. It took me a couple of hours to actually get used to playing with kb/m but... OH.MY.WORD!! I think I ruined myself on the HOTAS. I set the controls up a little more like a FPS (did I mention bounty hunting/combat is my preferred activity in Elite) and it wasn't even the same experience.
I know this is sacrilege to some... but the kb/m is a winner for me.
