Some internet issues

Right now, i have some issues to connect to the internet with my rig (using the old crappy family rig right now..no idea why this one works)
tomorrow(today) i have the time to look into it. I hope that i can resolve it quickly.

Hmm..it seems to be an issue with my rig. There is a connection to the internet (i can see it when i acces my router) but there is no data tranfer. Might be a virus or something...
I changed my cable and it is still not working. Could take some time and money..meh!

Sounds like some sort of software issue on your rig. Just check that the setting for your rig are the same for other devices on the router. Then check the internet and network settings on your PC. After that, find and reinstall a driver for your ethernet connection (or wireless device if wireless), pretty sure that was the cause of the last time such a thing happened to me.

I feel your pain, my NIC died during the week, kept causing a memory dump and crash on start up. Took two days to work out what was going on (PC would only stay on 50% of the time), the only good thing was that a new NIC was less than a tenner.
