Greetings from Dallas, Texas

I was more of a FPS gamer until I discovered Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen recently.
Got my HOTAS and having a great blast with these space games.

Flying at the moment in a Viper.
I thought would be fun to join other like minded Commander to enjoy this vast space.
Cheers.

At present I'm in Alliance space, but now that I've hit friendly I'm thinking about making the move to Empire space, so I can start working my way to a Clipper (both in being able to afford it, and having the necessary rank). I haven't really made up my mind yet, though. I may hang around where I'm at a while longer. Doing 'merc work' for the Tellus Group has been fun. Heh.

Greetings commander and welcome! This game is great with a HOTAS set up. Now that I am used to it I'm surprised at how much better I dogfight (as opposed to using the 360 controller).

Even with my joystick and keyboard setup, I'm way more accurate than I was using a 360 controller in combat. Those little thumbsticks just don't provide the right range of motion for both wide maneuvers and fine sight adjustment. Gimballed weapons will be the Xbox One players best friend when that version hits shelves. :D

I agree. My joystick is just the cheap Logitech one but I'd never go back to keyboard and mouse again.
