Doing some missions for my local faction, their influence in the system has been slipping so I reckon they need my help!
In between I'm doing a bit of trading, got a nice little run in system between two stations that's a decent earner, especially as the only travelling I'm doing is super-cruising between them.
Saving up for a top-notch FSD for my exploration Asp, then I'm going to do some long-distance exploring!

I have been recently do some exploring (Cobra MK 3 has now Advanced Discovery Scanner) and updating Trade Dangerous Station Data for new stations and prices. I have plenty of bounties by Empire. Closest Empire world is Liaeding about 110ly. MAybe somekind of round trip back to there..

I have never seen any Mobius pilots...

Now waiting for the 1.2 downloaded. The download speed acting like the Pig who improves it's running speed (Finnish frase: Parantaa kuin sika juoksuaan) first 30min about 0,9MB/s, now the overhelming speed at 3.5MB/s

You might just need to practice docking - I play with mouse and keyboard and I've never had a problem, even when I was playing in the Beta. Docking in Elite Dangerous is incredibly easy compared to Frontier (the only other Elite game I've played so far), in that you can actually do it yourself and don't need to rely on the autopilot to do it for you in order to not crash and explode all over the place...not that there is an autopilot in ED...well, there's the docking computer thing but I haven't bothered with one of those. I don't want one as I'm doing perfectly well by myself...docking is probably one of the most fun things I do at the moment - I like it when I can descend and decelerate perfectly so that I plonk right onto the pad without needing to hit the brakes hard or accidentally bump against the floor or whatever . I'm also getting pretty familiar with where each pad is so I know how much I'll have to slow down ocne I enter the letterbox - I fly in at a speed of around a hundred but if it's, say, Pad 16 then that's right at the front so I slow down very quickly once I'm in. If it's Pad 44 that's right at the back so I can zoom in a bit faster, plus lowering the undercarriage halves my speed anyway so that helps too .

Got completely suckered at an "Strong signal" last night. Jumped in, very wary about it all but what popped up on the scanner was a bundle of gold canisters. Brilliant I thought free money. Opened my cargo hatch and started to approach the first canister. Got to about 100m and suddenly my radar filled with contacts and my rear shields lit up. Managed to scoop the gold and make my escape but took 5% hull damage. Sold the gold for just under 7000 credits so I still walked away with a profit even after the repairs. It was a brilliant moment of gameplay and showed how careful you now have to be!

Lol yeah, logged in to play a couple of hours before I go to the theatre later, only to immediately get a "servers are coming down in 30 mins" broadcast . Well, I managed to make about 30k profit from fetching three tons of gold for the station in Aulin, and was able to visit Leonard Nimoy station in the process (to get the gold from there) once I noticed it was only one hop away .

Yeah, I was just in, too. Was about to head back to my current HQ in Tellus after checking ship prices in Alioth (permitted system bonuses, anyone?) - All I managed to discover was that the Asp was in fact cheaper there. 5.4 million or thereabout, instead of over six. Worth keeping in mind. I wonder if Sol is similar?
