I'm Dave, and I've been playing Elite Dangerous since alpha, and my age makes me one of the original 84-ers. I am also a member of the FGE (First Great Expedition), one of you newly affiliated groups.
I initially played in open play, but I have found that because of today's on-line gaming mentality, that more and more players are out there just to hassle and grief, so more recently I have switched to solo mode.
I do miss the player interaction in this mode, so a PvE group like Mobius sounds like the ideal place where I can group with like-minded players, and play this game the way I intended to play it.
I've currently got a number of ships parked around (Cobra, Viper, Asp, FDS, and I am currently flying a Type-7). Done a lot of work in the community goals, but cut me and I bleed federal blood. I'm a Post Commander in the Federal Navy, which I hope counts for something in future ED content
Hopefully will be accepted in the group through the game soon, and will see you in space.
