Still sticking with the Cobra club here.... I actually spent money on my Asp rather than getting the Vulture I figure what the hell that's the latest fad but I can work the Cobra.

Really enjoying my Vulture - before I got it I was ranked mostly harmless and had collected maybe 1M in bounties.

luckily FD don't care about Solo or PvE.

i personally hope they don't nerf it; or if they do, they also reduce the cargo sizes of the larger ships so that the most cash you can make in an hour in combat equals the most you can make in an hour trading

How do you cope against the death by 1000 cuts: simultaneous attack by two wings of pirate Sidewinders/Eagles/Vipers?
That situation highlights the Vulture's lack of defensive points. Two powerful weapons against a single adversary - even a well-equipped Anaconda - usually gives you an advantage, but 8 little buggers at one go . . .

That's what do. It's just that I'm constantly nagged by the need to be invincible.

I'm not sure it's that powerful that it negates the desirability of ships like the FDL or the Python. I can happily take out Pythons, Anacondas and the like in RES with my Vulture, but get my ass handed to me by Elite Condas on bounty missions or by multiple targets in a strong SS.

There isn't the power to run with lots of shield cells, so once your shields are down you've got a long period of hull tanking or running until your shields are back up. I'm not sure that it is a massive improvement over my Asp and that had no-way near A-rated fittings across the board. I suspect an A-rated fitted Asp would be better than a Vulture for combat, just horrendously expensive to kit out.

I think it is a good combat upgrade from the Viper/Cobra that will keep folk who want to only do bounty hunting/combat zone content engaged with the game until they can afford the bigger ships.

I agree. I love my Vulture now and hope they don't nerf it. It's really a power management constraint so you'll never be able to A rate everything, but a good fighter upgrade everyone can eventually afford (as it's not astronomically priced).
