Hotas for a lefty

Postby MrSandman » Sun Apr 05, 2015 6:38 pm

Well after playing this game for an age with mouse and keyboard I finally brought my first flight stick a logitech extreme 3d pro

It looked the most comfortable one I could use as a left hander and was pretty cheap.
Well its ok to use but not overly easy I have to use the stick right handed and use the buttons and throttle with my left, not brilliant though all those buttons has freed up my keyboard some what.
Anyway the point to this post, would it be possible to use one of those Hotas kits as a lefty? Are there any leftys that have tried it and got along fine? If so what would you recommend.
Thank you for any replies.

I just broke my old Saitek joystick. It was so old, it was USB1.

It had a little key that allowed you to move the heel rest and throttle wheel from one side to the other, and adjust the angle of the three-button platform at the top of the stick.

I've never seen another stick like it (for lefties).

In fact, here's a pic of one set up for a leftie:
