RESs will only show up in your nav list from 1,000Ls away or less. if you're trying to find one at a certain system/planet, you need to be closer than that.

Perhaps also worth noting - if you're nowhere near the (explored) system, you can look at the system map and if it has at least one station/outpost and a planet with metallic rings (analysis of the rings appears on the left of the system view when you select the planet), it's a fair bet there's a RES in them thar rings...

For those flying in Wings the total bounty of the pirate in question is divided equally between all members of the wing, regardless of who shot last. (or first )
